Ame ga Kuru Niji ga Tatsu: from the OST of the anime Mushishi, the soundtracks haunted me.
Rain Down Our Sins: OST of the movie Picnic – Shunji Iwai. One of his very first movies, dark and haunting, yet the OST are full of meledious and smooth piano.
Endless rain: if you haven’t known X-japan and their awesome music, you may start with their piano – easy-listening and suit most ears.
of world’s end girl friend and wonderland falling yesterday: one artist, 2 different styles of sound mixing & arrangement, both tracks are great pieces. Well I praise cause I’m a fangirl (;_;), but if you want to get a ‘look’ at ambient and experimental electronic sounds, I’m sure those tracks will give you nice time.
Emancipator and Yasue Ois are also very nice, and Angelmark’s track is a little darker than the others…

Sorry, I suck at writing music reviews… ;___;. Plus I’m a little sick now (hope it’s not swine flu *O*), my mind’s totally blank .

Recently I’m so into K-pop *u*…  Can’t really tell the reason, maybe because of their hot guys XD, or the songs are catchy and really entertaining ^^, suitable for me listening to while doing homework (=u=).

Today I’ll introduce the OST of my all time favorite movie, All About Lily Chou-Chou – written and directed by Iwai Shunji. The director himself and the film have already had their own popularity so I won’t say anything about them here… except, this movie is the most important art piece that influenced me, the one I see most of myself in. So, I don’t care what people talking about it, praising or criticizing, I love All About Lily Chou-Chou and everything about it, that’s enough. ‘_’ v

The other CD is Breathe – in the movie it was a Lily Chou-Chou’s release. But Lily Chou-Chou is no real, so she actually is Iwai Shunji, Kobayashi Takeshi and Salyu.
Talking the truth, I don’t really enjoy much of Salyu’s music, but Breathe is always the breathe I need… (sorry, can’t stop being a fangirl *___* ).
Actually, I heard more than 3 people said that they don’t like Lily’s music at all,.. well I can understand. The first time watching the film, I felt those tracks were somehow freaky, they’re just weird and depressive… but as I continue listening to the songs, my heart melts inside the sounds.

Here are the three MVs of Salyu/Lily Chou-Chou, if you haven’t watched the movie yet you can try these to take a glimpse at the movie’s atmosphere.
